Eddie Adams buses at a San Fernando Valley nightclub in the late 70s when he’s discovered by a porn film producer. Welcomed into the family of the pornography industry, Eddie changes his name to Dirk Diggler and enjoys enormous success. Life goes great until the pressures of fame, drugs and a new era threaten to destroy everything.
I freakin' love this movie. It really grabs you from the start and you're right there having fun with Dirk Diggler and his dysfunctional, surrogate family. And that only makes things even more haunting when things go bad. Anyway, here's that amazing opening shot that kick starts the movie.
